I have lived on Nantucket Island for more than 24 years.  I started making my Nantucket Scallop Shell Lights my first year here.  As an island art, I found the combination of lighting and natural shells a beautiful pairing.   With every shell a unique gift from the sea, no two strands are alike.  Therefore, I include on my gift tag, "These Scallop Shell Lights were carefully created for you by Katherine J. Baker of Nantucket & Mother Nature."
